Meeting Review: Poster-Making Session
Thank you to those who came to our poster-making session on Monday! We made a total of five posters -- two for Club Day (Thursday during lunch in the quad! I hope to see you there!) and three for next week's E-Waste Drive. Next week is our first E-Waste Drive of the year (before and after school every day in the admin parking lot, between the Proscenium theater and the admin building), and we will need lots of volunteers to help let people know and to collect the e-waste that is brought in! If you can help out, email to let me know ASAP (by the end of Saturday) what days/times you will be able to help out -- ex. Monday morning, Monday afternoon, Tuesday morning, Tuesday afternoon, etc. -- so I can compile a volunteer schedule. All "e-waste collecting sessions" last about half an hour, so if you help out in the morning you would be helping from 7:30 to 8; if you help out in the afternoon, it would be from about 3 to 3:30. We will not be able to run an effective e-waste collecting campaign with just one or two people, so PLEASE try to find the time to help out at least once or twice! Additionally, we will be having recycling on Friday after school, so meet next to the C building stairs if you can help out! Next week, we will resume discussion on the Lexus Eco Challenge and other projects, including our two primary focuses at the moment: improving public transportation by petitioning to run a bus along Del Mar Heights and bettering the recycling system at CCA (which I will explain during our next meeting).
